How can the Wellbeing team help?

Our support is designed to help employees in the workplace to maintain healthy lifestyles and identify factors which may impact on physical and mental wellbeing.

We're a completely FREE service, funded by Public Health West Sussex, to provide preventative health services to people who live and work in our district.

Workplace Wellbeing Visits

Health Checks:

You can book us to visit your workplace for the day to deliver a batch of health checks. We provide 30 minute health check appointments for your staff, including blood pressure checks. We ask you to provide a private room for these and any results are completely confidential. Based on the results we will offer individual advice and signposting, or further support from one of our free services.

Wellbeing Talks:

During the visit, we can also deliver a Wellbeing Talk to a group of staff. Contact us to discuss the range of topics we can give talks on. We can help you choose which one would be most relavant to the staff in your organisation. For example:

• weight management
• healthy eating
• physical activity
• alcohol awareness
• smoking and vaping
• healthy sleep
• menopause

NHS Health Checks 

We may be able to provide full NHS Health Checks to your staff if suitable facilities are avaliable and eligibility criteria are met.

Free NHS Health Checks are screening for early risk factors for developing health conditions, such as diabetes and heart disease. They are for people aged between 40 and 74, provided that they have not received one within the past five years, and that they have not already been diagnosed with a specified range of medical conditions. Team meeting presentations

Do your staff work with patients/clients/service users who would benefit from our Wellbeing services?

An Arun Wellbeing Adviser can attend one of your team meetings to give an overview of our services. This will include the scope of the support we offer, signposting people to us, and how your staff can refer clients to us in a professional capacity.
