Arun Wellbeing support for stopping smoking

If you’re trying to quit, you don’t have to go it alone, help is available. Our stop smoking service is on hand to support you on your quitting journey.

It is available free of charge to residents in the Arun District and offers:

  • One-to-one appointments with a trained wellbeing adviser. These are offered as a telephone call or, as per the above, via face to face support (in line with Government guidance.)
  • Motivational Interviewing techniques to empower you to quit smoking.
  • Information on Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) such as gum, nasal sprays, patches etc. and providing these where appropriate.

Our service is non-judgemental and all face-to-face appointments will take place in a private and confidential space.
